used to lift weights work out in the grouphome i was in as a teen & when i got out i got pretty fluffy. so i got a weightset simular to what i used there & started using it though my diet wasnt the same as being hungry with moms cooking so the fat stayed & just build muscle. i was stabbed in the back of my leg & had trouble with my leg muscles since then. then after katrina i injured my shoulder & stopped working out all together. after my mom died last year i gained about 20 pounds & i have started doing pushups leg lifts & squats. i know its not enough but with alot of old injuries its got me going slower than id like (and lack of weights & gym time) now im pushing 39 & have a 4 year old little girl & want to get in shape for her as well as myself.
i love seeing & feeling my results after a good hard workout. since i been working out i been in less pain than i used to be in with my joints and tendons its not as unbearable as it used to be. i can also work out things from work so im not in as ****ty a mood & its a decent way to wake or get ready for sleep
