one week post comp
OVERALL RATING
It's funny how the 'biggest' I have ever been, weighing likely more than most women would be comfortable with, being everything that classifies outside the societal standard box, is the exact moment in which I can without hesitation look at myself and feel the most #BeYOUtiful in the skin I'm currently in. This last week was a make or break for a chance to stand on a national stage. In my opinion and based on experience, prep is the 'easy' part- but finding a balance to 'Reintegrate' back into 'life' is where real discipline comes into play. Everyone wanting to 'celebrate' over food and drinks, not understanding that regardless if this was your last show ever, you simply cannot just jump back into old habits. Post comp is the complete opposite of a quick fix and requires you to be extremely patient when it comes to caloric intake. Pushing too hard too fast all in the name of 'GAINZ' will def result in gains in all the wrong places not to mention a complete mental spiral into a dark place. Being sick these last 72 hours had me contemplating whether or not I 'could' keep together exactly what I needed to keep together. With 48 days to go EVERY minute counts.....these are one week pre show and one week post show pics. I've done minimal cardio over the last 7 days, lifts are short but effective (like always!!!) and carb intake is sitting back up at 4 meals a day. I have reintroduced protein powder and yes, fish(ICk) but only 1 meal a day(thank god I got gum back). My son's remind me daily that #igotthis, my mom reminds me daily that #ilovethisshit and I'm surrounded by a world of inspiration in all of YOU daily(yes YOU????????). So here's to 48 days 1 hour 55 minutes....54 minutes......53 minutes.... #BeYOUtifulbeast #imdoingit #igotthis #cbbf2015 #wpd #momswholift #youvsyou #mevsme
