One of the GREATEST gifts in my life is being a mother! I'm not sure there's really anything more amazing!!! What I will say is after becoming a mother I convinced myself for YEARS and through 2 pregnancies that it WAS NOT possible to EVER have the body I once had or envisioned in my head. Thankfully, I'm super stubborn and gave in to the challenge. There is no doubt the work that it has taken for brief moments has seemed "easy", but FAR more has been an uphill battle with MYSELF. It is possible to be your own worst enemy, just listening to yourself! This journey has also taken YEARS! I've gone from convincing myself that running miles upon MILES and eating like a baby bird would get me right were I wanted to be... Nope, had me hating LIFE and binge eating like it was Christmas every Saturday. To FINALLY, realizing the scale was only a small piece to my fitness journey and FUELING myself properly with food was important (1300 calories up to 2300-2500) Yes, please! Yep, I'd love to say this transformation happened in 6 months,sorry not possible! But, I will say it's happened with minimal amounts of cardio and a **** ton of heavy lifting! NO! It does NOT require hours in the gym either! (One of my all time favorites to hear) On top of, I don't want to get "too bulky", just tone things up. Blah! The KEY to reaching your fitness goals is CONSISTENCY. It's also being HONEST with yourself and realistic as to what it will take to achieve and maintain your goals. Take control of your health and love yourself to know you are WORTH taking the journey into a healthier lifestyle. Fitness is FUN! Being healthy, super enjoyable!
