A good day to have a good day

Today has been a good day. REWIND: no, it was actually an awful day. A terrible day. A day when Murphy's Law was in full swing and by that, I mean everrrrything went wrong. What did I do? I started telling myself over and over that today was a great day, a fabulous day, one of the best days I've had in months. Sure, I was saying it through gritted teeth at first but after a while of saying it and forcing myself to smile, I didn't have to pretend anymore because it actually did become a GREAT day. :)
