One of my personal tricks is I always plan workout ahead of time. This prevents me from leaving out my last set, getting off cardio early, and wasting time walking around trying to decide what to do next. When you start to get tied it's easy to think "ugh.. that's good enough". A written out game plan can help keep you on tract and push you that extra inch.
