Repost: " Do you train to feel better?? or to to be better? There is no wrong answer here. Both are equally admirable but the difference lies in the results. Do you simply get in, get moving and get out? Or do you show up mentally, physically prepared for what lies ahead. Do you envision yourself passing the threshold, embracing the burn, swallowing back the tears, never quitting because your program says your finished, only quitting when your done! Do you challenge that little voice telling you you can't? Or all those little voices whispering "you have nothing left". Everyday I train to be BETTER. I show up terrified, full of fear of letting myself down if I don't leave feeling stronger and BETTER than the last time I left the gym"- Jill I am currently training to BE BETTERâ¦.for what you askâ¦simply LIFE. And with that comes new challenges such as theseâ¦.DEADSâ¦a whole EFFING lot of them and all of various kinds, utilizing different angles of my muscles and pushing my comfort zone as these are not something that have been predominately part of any previous programs. But week by week I work at getting one step closer to where I want to be and one step further from where I startedâ¦â¦please feel free to 'constructively criticize' my form as I am always striving for progressâ¦â¦..perfection doesn't exist!!!
