Healthier Option!

Iâm a fan of a good âol sandwich and chips, but I would always feel a sense of guilt due to the overall calories⦠not anymore. The key to making better choices is to take your faves and find ways to replicate them with healthier, macro friendlier options. Iâve tried multiple âlower carbâ breads and Iâd say this is my fave for a cold sandwich. The texture is nice and fluffy. For 2 slices, itâs only 80 calories, 0.5g fat, 13g net carbs, and 5g protein. I added 85g of rotisserie chicken lunch meat, a swipe of light Mayo and honey mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion, and fresh jalapeño. To get my chip fix- I had a bag of Quest Sweet Chili chips (favorite flavor!). Total Meal Calories: 343, Macros: Fat 8.4g, Net Carbs 27.3g, Protein 36.6g. I was able to pick the bread and chips up from Target. Sandwich tip- if you are packing a sandwich for work and concerned about the bread getting soggy⦠do this! Pack your veggies separate. Put your chosen condiments in between your stack of lunch meat and dry side of meat on the bread. When youâre ready to consume, separate the two pieces of meat with the condiments and place the wet side on the slice of bread. Add your veggies in the center⦠Then enjoy! ?
