Got my Saturday workout in. As I work a later shift I have to readjust my schedule. Sometimes one has to be flexible in life so that workouts still happen. I use to just talk myself out of it and not find myself in the gym. But those days are in the rear view mirror. In this day of mental health no longer as taboo as it once was there is something about the value of connecting the dots between fitness and your mindset. Really you are one ride away from a good mood. I am serious. If you struggle with anxiety working out can begin to change that in your life in a very positive way. Like I have said before finding myself in the gym has helped my mental health even before I knew that it could. I just started feeling better about me. I remember seeing this quote on a T-shirt once. Ride it like you stole it. LOL When you think you have reached your potential PUSH IT HARDER. When I was younger and rode bike with my dad. I had a difficult time keeping up with him. I remember asking my dad how many hills were left towards the end of the ride, and he would reply... âItâs all downhill. Except for the uphill bits.â LOL every time I would fall for that.
