To anyone having a difficult time getting started, to those who havenât posted because of the fear of embarrassment or shame, I want you to know youâre not alone. Quietly build your temple and when youâre ready, share your journey with us to inspire those who were once like us. . The first tip to building your temple in private, doesnât necessarily start with a full blown workout. Mine started by doing 40 push-ups twice a week for two weeks. Based on that initial goal, I wasnât transforming my body, I was preparing my mind for the discipline required to increase my expectation. The other side of the coin was I had done 80 push-ups in a week which was more than I had done in 4 Years. I increased the expectation of those push-ups every two week if I successfully accomplished my 40 for the week. Start small, start successful. . If youâre struggling to start, lacking motivation, start with something you can do, within the comforts of your home. No one needs to see, but be forewarned no one can see if you did or did not do it. This is why itâs important to think about WHY youâre doing this. When we exercise in private we need our why to help us through otherwise weâre letting ourselves down- and overtime that develops into depression, lack of self esteem, feelings of being unmotivated, fear of failure, and fear of starting. . TODAY, choose something you CAN do. Not to transform, but to begin the momentum! . I do not want you to like or comment on this post, I want you to feel in your heart of hearts that today is the day to make one small change, for yourself.
