Usually I will do squats, bench and deads each workout. When I find opportunities to still lift heavy but apply my strength to train more functionally doing something I enjoy, I jump at it. In this case, I found a climbing gym that also has a small weight training area... WITH A SQUAT RACK! Squat, then deadlift, then go climb for a while to work the grip and upper body.
