I started working out after my first semester of college when I gained the dreaded Freshman 15. I was doing cardio but absolutely hated it. My boyfriend at the time was into lifting and guided me toward weight lifting to help me reach my goal of losing weight. I tried it, saw results, and have been in love since!

I love bodybuilding because I like challenging my body. Each PR brings me to a place I've never been before and that, to me, is exciting. It demonstrates the muscle earned through countless reps and profuse sweating in the gym.
There's no better feeling than progressively increasing the weight on your bar.
