It was back in 2012 when I was at my heaviest, 275lbs. I was on an airplane for the 1st time in a long time and realized when it was time to buckle the seat belt, that I was too large for the belt. It was a that moment that I decided to change my lifestyle and get healthy and haven't looked back since. I lost 60lbs on my own over 2 years and kept it off, but also plateaued for over a year. A co-worker at the time, who has since become a very close friend and an awesome workout partner, convinced me to join a small gym and start personal training with one of the trainers there. It was about 8 months later, I was down another 60lbs and was so happy with my progress!!! Since then, I have gained so much confidence about myself, love the muscle tone and my healthy new body and mind.
I love the way working out and lifting makes me feel and how I am able to transform my body. Not only is working out healthy, but it's a stress relief for me and I look forward to it everyday!!!!! (minus my 1 rest day a week, lol)
