Food is my passion. I love to cook and eat delicious food. I was never the "skinny" girl, which I did not mind. Even as a young adult I knew that if I wanted to eat good food I needed to balance it out by being physically active! I was a cheerleader in high school, which takes strength, endurance, and motivation. Competing has always been a passion of mine. Whether it is cheerleading, paddle boarding, or basketball, I do not need to be the best but always have to TRY my best. Effort is so important when it comes to achieving your goals and I will always give my 100%.
Over two years ago I started lifting weights because although I never wanted to be the "skinny" girl I have always wanted to be STRONG. Lifting weight grew on me (no pun intended) because there are no limits. There is always room to grow physically, emotionally, and mentally. I want to continue my journey of being physically active by weightlifting and making healthy food choices. There are new goals I have set for myself and I will give all my effort to reach them.
I love working out because it makes me feel alive. Working out gives me clarity and gets me through the day. The energy you get after a good workout is priceless. Seeing your body change is the best motivation to KEEP GOING! The fact that we have the power to change our bodies is truly amazing. I feel proud of myself when my body reflects a healthy lifestyle. The confidence and pride that comes with working out is why so many people keep coming back for moreâ¦including me.
