After my third year of college, at 127 pounds, I realized I had gained ten pounds...which wasn't muscle. I wanted to start eating healthy and exercising regularly. Slowly, I restricted what I ate and worked out more and more. Eventually, I developed anorexia and dropped down to 93 pounds. At 5'5'', that weight made my family and friends concerned. I began outpatient treatment and after some time, I began to let go of some of my rigid rules and got to a healthy weight. While my weight was healthy, I wasn't happy with my body composition. For the past five months, I have been lifting weights five days a week and doing HIIT running once a week. My goal is to gain muscle and maintain a low, but healthy weight.
I love having goals to be healthy and strong, and working toward those goals everyday. I enjoy being in the gym, especially when I have my sister there to support me (She is the best workout partner)! Working out is a stress reliever and gives me more confidence.
