My bodybuilding/working out career all started back in September of 2009. I was only a 10th grade sophmore at the time. I was 5'9 and weighed about 130 lbs. I was the epitome of a tall, lanky high school kid who had never seen the inside of a weight room or had ever picked up a dumbbell; (outside of freshman p.e., which I was required to take,) but not willingly. I hated working out because I wasn't very good at it. I wasn't quite as strong as some of the other guys in my class, granted I wasn't the weakest guy in the class, the fact that there were a dozen guys that were stronger than me and had bigger and more developed muscles than me, was really embarrassing and really made my confidence level drop signifiicantly. I had became the #1 ranked golfer on my high school golf team, and hell yeah I was proud of that. I had fallen one spot short of taking the #1 raking the previous year (my freshman season), but I really couldn't complain seeing as how this was only my 2nd year playing the sport, so yeah I think I did just fine. But lets get back to the beginning of my love affair with lifting weights and working out. So it all started out when I was just a kid growing up. I had always loved watched Tiger Woods (my favorite player) dominating the golf world on the PGA Tour. I was amazed at the things he could do with a golf club and golf ball. He hit shots no that one had ever seen before and played the game like no one had ever done before him or has since. He was without a doubt and still is the #1 player on the world and will go down as the greatest player of all time to ever play the sport. So I was always interested in what things made him so much better than the rest of the tour. I was always reading about him, watching videos of his near-perfect golf swing, and trying to figure out what his secrets were to being so damn good. So one day I was watching the golf channel and the announcers were talking about Tiger being the only tour pro that was hitting the gym and working out. I had never thought about him lifting weights to improve his game, but it all started to make sense then. I hadn't really pais any attention to how he had bulked up in the past few years. But then I could tell that he was definitely more muscular and in shape than a few years back. So things started to make sense now, why he hit the ball so much farther than everyone else, why he didn't get tired near the end of a round or the end of a tournament. It was his physical fitness routine and his diet.
