I used to be pretty fit all through high school, I did a lot of activities that just kept me in good shape...
After high school and 4 years later -I was in a relationship with a dude that could eat any thing and never gained a pound, He was tall and lean, and was always eating, I gained quite a bit.. I am not blaming him in any way, My own fault for not paying attention to my body! My next serious boyfriend was 6'9 built and always worked out! I started going with him and dropped some weight and did cardio and weight training at least 5 days a week, I felt great! I was with him about 2 years... it didn't work out...
I later moved 3 hours away from home to follow my current boyfriend/fiancé and his 2 kids...and lets just say the mommy life was a BIG change for me... I forgot about my self, I worried about my new job, keeping the house in shape, spending time with the kids and my fiancé, making them a wonderful home cooked meal everyday, laundry, etc... I know that all sounds like excuses but at the time, THEY were my focus not ME... so I gained some weight back...
I started the Insanity program on 11/17/13 and I feel awesome, I look forward to it daily! I have messed with the program before but never committed. My goal is to lose weight and I'd love to build body physique in the meantime!
I just love the feeling, refreshed, energized, happy.
I love the burn, "It hurts! But I kinda Like it!" :)
Plus I want a Slammin body! I got a wedding coming up!!
