For years, I was un happy with my body, "yo-yo-ing" between binging and becoming anorexic. Lifting weights and realising that I could eat every 3 hours without my body being affected in a negative way, opened my eyes immensely!
I have now been training consistently for approximately 9 months and the change in my body is unrecognisable. I have put on lean muscle and got rid of a lot of unsightly body fat. Over the last 2 weeks, I have entered a Miss Figure category in a natural competition and landed myself a supplement and apparel sponsor.
I feel amazing to be part of an outstanding minority of individuals and love the relationships we all form in the gym together!
I love the feeling I get when just having completed a hard work out. That "ache" you experience is like a major feeling of accomplishment!
I also love the fact that I am a relatively small girl lifting big weights. This gets a lot of people in the gym talking and they ask me questions about my training regime. I get to impart some of my knowledge onto them as well which makes me feel like I've helped someone along their fitness journey.
