I went to a birthday party back in August 2011 and when I saw the pictures of myself from that day... I said to myself, "I have to do something about my weight." At the time, I was 180 lbs. I started walking about 4-5 miles a day, 5 days a week and took a Zumba class once a week. I also changed my eating habits... trying to get into the mode of eating healthy and watching what I eat.
When I dropped 10 lbs., I upped my walking to jogging until I couldn't jog anymore and then walking until I caught my breath. I wanted to add even more to my program, so I joined a gym and started working out with weights.
I joined bodybuilding.com and had gotten an email for the $100,000 Transformation Challenge. I thought that was just the jumpstart that I needed.
Why I Love it
I love going to the gym and working out. I'm already seeing results and I'm looking forward to seeing even more results. I've made working out and eating "clean" a part of my day to day routine and I'm loving it!
