I was always very althetic growing up - I did track and field, and played every sport under the sun.
My forté was sprinting 100m, high and long jump, and I was also the captain of the school basketball team.
I ran for my province on a number of occassions.
I joined the gym formally after one of my friend's boyfriend's died in a car crash when we were 17. She needed to take her mind off of it, so we decided to finally join the gym.
It was great - we would go every day after school, and we had a personal trainer who coached us for free. We got so ripped in 3 months, so much so I almost ventured into bodybuilding seriously.
I loved how my muscles looked when I was bodybuilding. My trainers used to drill me so hard, but gosh I loved it!
I absolutely love the appearance of a ripped woman. What's more sexy than well-defined legs, defined arms and a washboard on a woman?!
I've been in love with working out ever since I joined the gym in 2003: lifting weights with the bog boys in the weights section gives me such an adrenalin rush. Seeing the muscles get defined...
It's priceless.
My body responds better to weight-training than it does to cardio anyway, and I wouldn't have it any other way! :)
