All my life I have been a voluptuous woman. I never thought it was important for me to learn how to exercise & eat right because I maintained the same weight for 5 years but I moved to San Diego and put on 40 lbs. I thought everything was fine because I felt good but then I looked at the scale in August 2012. I had hit my heaviest weight ever at 211 lbs. I felt like a failure and I knew I had to make a change. I have lost 47 lbs & 3 pants sizes. Well that's what my waist says my hips tend to keep me in a bigger one lol. I researched online and learned to eat right, portion control, and what foods were good ones. I followed proven steps and programs to exercise and lose the weight. I was so determined to lose the weight that I wanted to hit the ground running. No excuses no complaining just shear action. I followed bodybuilding.com and put my body into fat burning mode immediately with a high rep circuit program. From there I learned that building muscle was important so I've focused more on weight training than cardio.
