I grew up being very athletic & involved. During college, between academics & needing to work, I had stop playing collegiate softball. I missed competing athletically & found myself slipping further & further away from my fitness & physical goals. My softball coach in college was a figure competitor; I bounced around the idea but never pursued it. Then a friend of mine had taken me to a few shows & introduced me to the "fitness world" & after being around it I was hooked and I knew I wanted to be apart of it. Not to mention he didn't think I would stick with it which was just the fuel I needed! I knew then I wanted to compete!
I love competing, exercising and athleticism. I've always been an athlete and when I finally had to give that up I turned to the alternative that allowed me to feel like I was still in it. I've always enjoyed exercising and with workouts and dieting I get to challenge myself. It helps keep me balanced & centered. Working out helps me feel good & adds confidence. I'm a competitor- always have & always will be.
