Growing up I was always an active kid. I swam competitively for 6 years & after High School swimming, my shoulders were definitely started to feel torn up from Bilateral Tendonitis & I decided to go to my local gym & get a job as a receptionist at 16 years old & start learning how to weight train. That's when I fell in love with how working out made me feel. Now here I am but I struggled big time along the road to where I am today........
I was born with only 1/4 of a normal sized thyroid otherwise known as Hypothyroidism & about 3 1/2 yrs ago was diagnosed with Hashimoto's diease which is an autoimmune disease which attacks the thyroid which was rough to deal with at first. Normally woman with Hypothyroidism & or Haskimoto's disease are supposed to be heavier, sluggish, tired, brittle hair, poor curculation...etc BUT I refused to let my thyroid issues control my life. My fiancé & I met on Bodyspace 5 1/2 years ago & as it turned he is a Chiropractor who also specializes in functional medicine & helped my change not only my nutrition but my lifestyle & help improve my thyroid function. I am at the healthiest & happiest I have EVER been & through proper nutrition, I have made the change because one day I woke up & said "I'm done. I want to feel better & accomplish my goals." That day I never looked back. I eat 100% Gluten Free & believe me, I am not missing out on the good stuff:)
I am a Regional Coach and take both private clients and create custom meal plans for women with the amazing team of women at Bikini Boss Fitness in Tampa, FL.

I was born without a functioning Thyroid gland (Hypothyroidism) & diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease which caused me some problems in the past as far as fluctualting in weight, being overlytired, hair falling out...etc After years of trying to figure out what foods a person with Thyroid disease that I have should eat, I have trained throught the year & eaten clean, gluten free, still have cheat meals &enjoy some drinks every now & then.
Working out, eating properly & learning to balance out everything in my life gives me energy & makes my time here on earth maximized!!!
