I started working out when I was 15 with my father. He showed me the basics of bench, squat, and running. From there I became hooked. We started going in the morning every day Monday through Friday. He was military as well so it was normal for him. I was going before school and loving it. When he deployed it became my life even without him there. I ate, slept and breathed bodybuilding. To the point that I prepared and competed for a show the first year. It was two weeks after I had turned 16. I finished third in the teen lightweights. Chris Cormier was the guest poser on top of it all. The entire experience was life changing. Since then my ambitions have changed dramatically but underlying everything my base is health and fitness.
Why do I love it? I can't really do it justice with words. It is simply everything to me. The base of life to me starts with your health and fitness. The better I take care of my body the better I feel and it carries on to every other area of my life in a positive manner. My goals and ambitions have changed to where I don't aim to compete ever again, however, there are still very substantial goals that I have decided upon. No matter how things may change in the future, I will always maintain my health and fitness to the best of my ability.
