As a kid, I was a dancer and then moved into cheerleading, so I was always "muscular" for not being a true athlete. Throughout my adulthood, I would venture into weights and working out, and then drift out again. I got very determined after my first cancer diagnosis in 2007, and began working out with a partner on a regular basis in 2008. When I took an early retirement in May 2011, I completely stopped with the strength training, and only did yoga 3-4 times a week. This sustained me for a while - and through cancer diagnosis #2 and #3 (yea, crazy eh?). When my longtime relationship ended with my guy in 2014, I was pretty devastated. Seven months after that I had to have my gall bladder removed and realized....this is it. I need to control the things I can control NOW and get back to the body that I so love to have - Fit, Healthy, Sexy. So, I started back in the gym Nov 3, 2014 and am currently a work in progress. And....here I am!
