I started ordering bits and pieces of my suppliment regime from Bodybuilding.com to completely falling in love with everything they offer. Suppliments were very foreign to me about 6 months ago, but with the copious resources on real 'weight training' available to me through the site, I'm understanding their importance and impact on how you train and recover.
I was always an athlete; I was a competitive swimmer since age 3, and swam all the way into Division I Swimming & Diving 16 years later. But I never learned to properly 'weight train', and as such, have made it my own personal challenge to push my boundaries to build the body I've always admired. I love training, being in shape, and enjoying the physiological and psychological benefits of giving my self a good 'ass whooping' in the gym (and the pool).
From here, it's a lifestyle change to go beyond the competitive shape from my peak years.
