I started to work out consistently after having a couple of life threatening seizures. I have been a diabetic since the age 10 and weight lifting has always been my go to. I got serious after the seizures because i enjoy life and did not want it taken away. It has also drawn me and my wife closer together as she is now my training partner and she has become a weight room warrior.
I love working out because it is one of the few things in this world that has accountability. If you cant achieve something than you only have yourself and not a finger to point at someone else. I have looked the possibility of death in the face and have refused to give up and give in. The whole truth about what does not break you only makes you stronger is as true as it could be because I have gone through more than my fair share of tough times and I have now come out stronger than ever and I am now a man on a mission writing my own history and the banner that is going to represent myself.
