I have always been active with competetive and recreational sports since I was younger so staying active and in shape has always been important to me. As I get older, the opportunities for competative sports seems to be limited so I rely on going to the gym and working out to be my daily fitness fix.
Why I Love it
Working out, for me, gives me a sense of accomplishment. It's not only about losing weight or getting that bikini-ready body, it's about getting lean and becoming stronger. I usually do one day a week of heavy weight lifting and each time I do I set a new PR on at least one lift...that's what keeps me going! I already have a list of goals I wish to achieve at the conclusion of the body transformation contest, but each week I always seem to add just one more. Even though I'm competing with other people, this contest, for me, is all about proving to myself I can do it. I WILL achieve my goals!!!
