On early retirement, my wife Barb and I decided to go back to our roots and established a fitness facility that could accommodate private opportunity for those who wanted individual attention without the crowd. In the process, we developed personal goals and set forth changing our own health and fitness lifestyle to a more aggressive approach.
In the past year I have endured hernia surgery, lynch syndrome testing, and left ventricle collapse of the heart. We have now relocated to Florida for medical purposes. At one point, it seemed goals were falling apart but a strong faith in god and a loving dedicated wife has kept me focused enough to stay in tune with my body and what the gym has to offer in my recovery.
I am beginning again, putting competition aside and working toward recovering a physical presence I can be proud of at 60+ years of age. I look forward to the exhiliration of resistance and aerobic exercise.
Resistance and aerobic training has allowed me to maintain my youth with limited risk to injury. I especially enjoy the opportunity to share those little insides that help younger men grasp the concept of nutrition, hydration, supplementation, adequate rest, as all fitting in as pieces to the fitness puzzle.
