I had worked out regularly for years and managed a healthy amount of progress, but unfortunately as I turned 30 I had gotten caught up in the stressful parts of life (i.e. work, school, dating), found injuries had added up, all progress had been lost, and I was left in the worst shape of my life. I had fallen off the health and fitness wagon hard and I did nothing for a while as I dwelled in my unhappiness and physical failure. As I reflected on where I was and on the goals I had set for where I wanted to be, it was obvious I was no where near those goals and something had to change. With this in mind I took the first big step in changing my life and entered the Transformation Challenge. Nothing like a putting it all out there (the before pics may be the end of me ha ha) and a little competition to motivate myself to be the best me in 2013
I love it when it's over ha! Currently I don't more joy at any other point of the workout than when I hit 'stop' on the treadmill and know I am DONE! Other than that, I enjoy the challenge of constantly challenging both my physical and mental toughness limits. Working out and moving the weight is hard, but maintaining the necessary focus of dieting, workout planning, supplement regiment, and all the other 101 thing you has to do in life and fitness is brutal.
