After having my second daughter I gained a ton of weight I was about 180lbs. at 5'1 I didn't feel confident and I hated buying clothes so I tried many different diets most of them didn't work or I was basically starving myself but then gain it right back, I one day jus said I cant take this anymore im better then this I completely gave up sodas and sugars and with in 30 days I lost 10 pounds which gave me a boost of confidence to continue I started portioning my foods and walking which is really how I lost a lot of my weight in 2 years I was down to 130 and believe it or not I did get a lot of negative feed back as if I was on something losing weight or purging which was not the case at all but I also got positive feed from the ones that matter my husband & positive friends God put in my life and because of them I have had great motivation and support! Anyway over the next 2 years I lost another 15 pounds which puts me at 115 now I have maintained my weight for 4yrs but I want more than jus maintaining I would love to start toning up, gaining muscle, have more endurance and continue living a healthy fulfilled life for myself and be able to give my husband and children the best of me.
I love working out because seeing progress motivates me that much more, and who new working out and running can be the cure for many things some days when im stressed, depressed, or feeling unmotivated i force myself in the gym because i know when i leave i will feel 10x times better and refreshed i love feeling like i can take on anything!!!
