If you look at my starting picture - I was fat as ****. I was just about to turn 32 and I was tired of feeling all the aches and pains of being fat and out of shape.
Growing up I played Ice Hockey, Baseball, Basket Ball, Football and started Wrestling. I was always very active, very competitive, and in High School / College had clearly visible abs. I wanted this again. I realized time was ticking and I needed to make some changes before it only got harder.
I started dieting. Dropped all carbs from my meals and within 90 days I lost 50 pounds. Of course the issue there is I started losing hair too lol. Losing the weight was nice but I needed more. I wanted to be tone, strong, fit and beyond. I started working out in the garage getting the stabilizers working again and getting my mind and body used to a routine.
In July 2012 with my Brother in Law, We joined a Gym and really started cranking things out. It has totally become a way of life and bodybuilding.com has helped a ton.
I love getting beat up. Feeling the fight. The challenge of making change. Lifting does all this for me. As Arnold said, Pain means im only getting stronger so I love pain.
It never gets easier, I just get stronger.
