Went to the doctor for a check up and when I got on the scale I was shocked to see 310lbs!!! I knew I gained wait over my college days but damn! In high school I was 230. Back to the doctors appt, I was told that I was morbidly obese and that I was a high risk for diabetes if I didnt do something now. I was also prescribed high blood pressure medicine. I knew this was the turning point because from that day on I could tell how out of shape I was. I couldnt walk a 1/2 a mile without being drenched in sweat and soooo out of breath. I decided it was time for a change.
After the first 30 lbs I lost, I felt so good. I could tell with my physical fitness and appearance. I continued working out and 30lbs turned to 35, 40, 45, etc until I noticed I was dropping weight like nothing! Then my first bit of muscle starting poking out and that was my proudest moment. I knew then that with hardwork and determination, I could have any body I wanted! Now Im so addicted its sickening...but in a good way. And just a couple months ago, I went back to the doctors office and surprise surprise! I dropped a total of 80lbs and counting, I no longer have to take high blood pressure medicine cuz they said my blood pressure is better than textbook, and the diabetes scare? No longer there!
