Looking back at my journey to get fit and healthy and the absolute discipline and dedication it takes, I thought hey why not share it!
I started my journey in october 2011. My lifestyle was and is chaotic travelling and entertaining customers etc. I slowly gained weight until I reached 75kg on a 161cm body. I looked at myself and before me was a mountain of a problem that needed fixing.
Like everyone my mind raced to quick fixes..I did not try any, I thought let me so research and educate myself.
And so it dawned on me.. it is a lifestyle not a diet! I made the changes and lost 25kg. Now I looked at myself and I was skinny, but weak. Skinny fat! So the research began again and I found bodybuilding.com with guidance on Training programs and proper nutrituin and supplementation. I started lifting..and lifting..and lifting. .I am hooked. Strong is what I will be..
18 months later and I dont feel like the weak girl intruding in the weight area! No! I hold my own, I lift with focus and confidence and eat and live outside the gym the same manner. I still have the same life..travel, entertaining etc, but a whole new lifestyle.
It still takes me a double look or two to get used to my new body and new positive go-get-them attitude..
