For the past few years i've been a cardio bunny and had the mentality that if I do lots of cardio and eat properly i'll get the body image that I want. FAIL.
I've managed to lose most of the baby weight that I gained but I still feel that i'm soft and lack the definition that I want. My workouts would consist of running 5-10kms 5-6x per week and videos such as Jillian Michael's 30 day shred and P90X. P90X kicked my ass a bit at first but I never attained the results I wanted. I've done all of my workouts at home with the random gym visit here and there. I never saw the purpose of having a gym membership when all I was using were barbie weights.
After reading countless articles I decided that I need to get over my fear of "heavy weights". I now lift weights 3x a week and do cardio 4-5x. I've started doing the NROLFW program and i'm excited to see the results.
