When I was younger I was never super active but stayed at about 125 lbs. I was a skinny fat:) Once I started getting older and having children, well, you know, life happened! About a year ago I was at my heaviest and most miserable sitting at 179lbs. Living in Florida, 179lbs is not a option! My best friend had who had been fighting obesity herself started doing this thing called Crossfit. She seemed like she was having so much fun and lost a massive amount of weight and toned up. I decided to join her:) Really thought I would die at first. My body had never had so much physical activity. I couldn't even run 200m but with encouragement from the group continued on. On you know what? I got stronger! And although I didn't lose tons of weight on the scale was able to lose 14% BF in 7 months!! I startedout with like 42% BF. Holy cow!!! In August of 2012 my husband got a new job and we had to make the move to Ohio. Talk about a climate shocker! Unfortunately when that happened I stopped training for about 4 months and obviously gained some BF back. I decided it's time to get off my butt and get that body i've always dreamed of. Joined the YMCA and cleaned up my eating. I'm still trying to figure out the eating exactly but am working hard. My 40th birthday is this July and I plan on being a fabulous 40 and not a fatulous 40!!
