I lost a significant amount of weight since 2005 and maintained that loss while being in the Army National Guard, but I was ready to take it to the next level. With the help of my personal trainer, I have been gaining knowledge and the ability to do effective training sessions on my own. I am focusing mostly on gaining muscle while slowly taking off more body fat.

I have gone from being terrified, intimidated, overwhelmed and clueless about weight lifting and strength training to absolutely addicted. I strayed away from it for the longest time but have found myself to be so much more confident now that I feel comfortable doing it. I have real goals and real will power to achieve them.
