I got started with fitness when I was in my early 20's. I'd always been skinny and never thought of myself as an athlete. I suffered though a difficult pregnancy, losing 20% of my body weight. Eventually I lost the baby, so after a period of mourning I turned to exercise as a way to reclaim my body and myself. I started with walking and bodyweight strength building and went from there. Unfortunately, I didn't eat enough during that time and I didn't achieve what I wanted and developed some unhealthy habits. Eventually I joined a gym, but I didn't see results until I quit doing cardio and started lifting weights and eating much more.

I want to see just what my body is capable of at it's best. I love seeing myself get stronger. I also like looking as good as I can in and out of clothes.
