I didn't start lifting until i started college back in 2009. I had an understanding of health and wellness but was still a novice at best when it came to hitting the gym. I stuck to the basics, push-ups, pull-ups, dips and some machine work. From 2010-2012 i started getting into squats, dead lifts and bench but still....really didn't know what i was doing. it really wasn't until i was deployed to Kuwait and Jordan in 2012-2013 when my best friend got be into Olympic lifts, crossfit workouts and got me out of my comfort zone. I was hitting proper form on lifts and making gains. I did countless research on nutrition and exercises to better myself and others. I carried these same values to the country of Jordan where due to the lack of equipment i get myself a set of Rogue Fitness rings and my body weight exercises, yoga and calisthenics took off that i pride myself in every day.
