Two years ago when I appeared on TV for a short while and actually got to see myself looking horrible at 210-220 lbs. was when I started to seriously reconsider my lifestyle. To be honest, I'd never been "fit" in my life and always went back and forth with losing and gaining weight. Exercise wasn't new to me either as I have a father who holds national powerlifting records. I just didn't care about my fitness.
It wasn't until then in 2008 that I suddenly got motivated to get serious, re-joined a gym and through research, started to REALLY learn and practice the proper, if not technical ways of getting fit and staying healthy through focused training and nutrition.
Results totally come with the hard efforts! Too worth it. Also, it's very fulfilling and uplifting especially when I look back and see how far I've come from my previous state. I guess it's that time of the most wonderful evolution process in my life for me yet!
