I was 12 years old and influenced by action heroes, martial artists and Richard "Little Hercules" Sandrak. I had been underweight all my life, and for the last 4 years it had gotten worse. I was 152cm tall and literally only 25kg. That's a BMI of 10.8. Outside of natural growth spurts as I continued to grow for the next 5 years, I've gained a solid 25kg of lean body mass through training, and now like to hang around a total bodyweight between 65 and 75kg.
Why I Love it
I like the actual experience of working out just as much, if not more than the strength and physique I get out of it. It gets me in a good place mentally, and the small rep PB's along the way are a great little reward.
