I actually started working out in middle school, during basketball season, then at age 17 got a Bowflex, joined a rugby team and eventually took up boxing. I've also explored pilates, touched on the tae bo craze and dabbled in yoga. It wasn't until January 2006 that I spent real, hard time in a gym.
Overseas, I lifted every day for my twelve-month deployment. I came home and invested money in a complete home gym with free weights, squat rack and bench. After finishing college, I became an ACE personal trainer and eventually managed a gym in Florida.
I currently train to be a balanced athlete, running several times a week and continuing a base weight lifting regimen with olympic lifts and kettlebell incorporation.

I love work, especially hard work - and very few people in my life can demand more from me than myself.
