All through high school I was always very active, so after graduating I was really interested in getting started into something that would keep me in shape and continue keeping me as active as I was. So with the prodding of my buddies (Michael Samm), I started weight lifting and that's where it all began. I have been in the gym since 2001 and have been hitting it hard ever since. I started at 148 pounds and now on average am weighing around 200. From there I started doing my own research about living a healthy lifestyle and maintaining a clean diet. I've learned and taught myself so much over the past ten years and I really enjoy sharing my knowledge and expertise with other people. My long term goal was to compete as a body builder, however; since this was my first year competing the new Men's Physique division caught my attention, and I've been dedicated to bringing my best package to the stage and motivating others to do the same along the way ever since.
I've always enjoyed being able to be in the gym, by myself, head phones on. It's all about me in that moment, always been such a stress reliever for me, just being able to zone out and go through the motions of my workout without any distractions, being focused and dedicated to bettering myself and my overall physique. I love training because it gives me complete of control over my health and my life. It's without a doubt a 100% lifestyle commitment, I couldn't imagine my life any other way.
