I got into fitness to train for sports. First for running in elementary school jog-a-thon, then tennis (very briefly), and later baseball, which I was really passionate about and got me pushing myself more in the gym. However, I got sidetracked and played basketball then wound up running again, this time on the track team.

Because of the fact that a conditioned body opens the door for opportunities in athletics and otherwise. Sometimes it's something you're seeking, sometimes God brings it forth unexpectedly. (ie. track team, it was not really on my mind at the time)
