I started doing situps and pushups when I was 8yrs old because my cousin had gone to the Navy and when he came home he was talking about situps and pushups. I got the bug and did situps and pushups every morning I got up...it was a blast to say, I did 100, 200 or 300 situps this morning. When I was 13 yrs old I started lifting the cement weights my uncle had and it hasn't stopped since. I've lifted for size, cut down, ran marathons, ultra-marathons, adventure races, triathlons....love to challenge my body and push it to see what it can do.
God gave us our bodies, in His image, and He refers to our bodies as our temples.....do you want a mess in a temple? I look at my body as clay and we can sculpt it however we want, with dedication and commitment. I also look at my body as a walking, living science experiment.......change the workout and confuse the body to see what happens. Very blessed and thankful.
