Was tired of being tired and out of shape. Hit 180 lbs and my cholesterol and blood pressure began creeping up. I started by eating healthier, running and doing simple dumbbell workouts at home. I saw great results and got my weight down to 163 lbs with noticeable gains in muscularity. I started to plateau so I decided to take my workouts to the gym which is when I started seeing significant results.
I never used to buy into all the hype about "the pump", that is until I actually started experiencing it myself. I love the feeling you get when you crush a workout. I really enjoy the science behind bodybuilding and love focusing on the development of particular muscle groups. Bodybuilding has been at the center of a complete lifestyle change for me. I now factor every decision I make (eating, drinking, sleeping) into how it will affect me in the gym.
