I have always worked out. I currently teach fitness classes at our local YMCA. I started my bucket list with wanting to run 10 full marathons. I made it to 6 before my life took a major turn. I have always wanted to be in a fitness competition as part of my bucket list.
In November 2011 my husband lost his battle to Lukemia and I decided after finding Cancer as a major part of my daughters genetics, I wanted to pursue clean eating and try everything i could to make sure as a parent I do what i can to give her the best life she can have. I also wanted to show her just because life has given us an unexpected turn, it is ok to live the life you want and support the ones you love and with that, anything is possible, even if dreams seem unreachable or realistic to others.

Health and Wellness/Fitness have always been important to me. I have been so blessed to have learned how many different avenues there are to take, and I am not sure where life will lead next but I cant wait to see where this journey leads. I told my coach, I feel like I have found a path I am supposed to take, I cant explain it, it just feels right.
Now i see my daughter, my friends and family making healthier choices, and I am so proud of all of them and so grateful for the support system that encourages me to continue pursue my goals. No great success is done completely alone, it is because someone took time to say "Yes" or offered to help. I want to pay it forward and will never forget those who have assisted me!
