I've always been an athletic individual, played soccer my entire life and was super active all the time. When I graduated high school I was terrified of gaining the "Freshman 15" and before that I'd never spent much time in the weight room or anything because I had soccer to keep me in shape. For my entire first semester of college I stuck to the stairmaster, ab workouts and workouts from the Nike+ app on my iPhone. After that semester I transferred to a college near home and got a job at the local gym and started to feel more comfortable in the weight room. Once I started lifting, my passion grew.
I love bodybuilding because I love having the freedom to sculpt whatever body I want. I'm in complete control of my results and I love being able to push myself. Comparing pictures and seeing my own personal progression in just a year of weight lifting motivates me to keep going and I know my passion lies in this sport/lifestyle. The entire aspect of it is addicting. The people I've met are some of the most amazing and influential people out there, and I'm constantly striving to be the best version of me.
