When I moved to CA, lots of opportunities to hone and expand my fitness routine emerged. The weather on the West Coast vs. the East allows you to literally be outdoors 360 days a year and it motivates me to keep running and get lots more fresh air into my routine.
I still hit the gym, home and off site and lift good weight along with my "keep it crazy" body weight regime. I like my cardio, plyo, and strength training to be dynamic and fun! Working out keeps me as balanced mentally as possible, and I'm always chasing my physical best profile. :) I guess we're all doing that!
I'm in a new cycle of working hard and getting ready for summer...I always incorporate 3 things into my workouts and lifestyle: Intermittent fasting, fun, and the outdoors. Even though I might struggle occasionally with getting down in the mouth because I want results faster than my body wants to give them to me, I stay on the up side of things. Life's just too short to be so serious ALL the time! Ya dig?
I love working out to stay healthy, keep on top of my game, and challenge myself physically and mentally.
I don't know what I'd do with the stress of life and work without a daily injection of tunes and sweat!
