I started working out during my first deployment to Iraq in 2007. The guys that make Animal pak sent us a care package with these booklets called "the journey" that followed Frank McGrath's training. It motivated me to workout and get as huge as possible. by the end of that deployment i went from 180lbs to 210lbs, my bench went from 200 to 315, i learned all about physical fitness, and i got all kinds of complements. as the years went on my focus has gone from getting as big as i can, to being somewhat big but also functional. My goal now is to shred as much fat as possible while maintaining as much muscle mass as possible.
Working out, for me, is like meditation. I can stop thinking about work, home, the kids, and just get into my zone and focus on me. even though its physically exhausting, in the end i feel relaxed, calm, and glad i did something for myself that didnt cost much money.
