I want to get healthy. I see no point in doing a crash diet and losing just a bunch of weight. Skinny has no appeal to me. I want to be fit, strong and healthy.
Why I Love it
Because it hurts and I can barely do it some days, but I feel amazing afterwards. Because doctors told me they can't explain how I can even walk with the back condition I have, but that I would never be able to handle working out again and they were wrong. Because they said surgery was my only option and I said so was getting stronger. Our bodies are amazing things and while mine has been on a nightmare of a medical journey that has increased my weight time and time again, I haven't given up. If I had just trusted in myself and my body years ago, I would not be the obese mess I am today, but I have started trusting in myself now. Working out is the key for me and it opens up the door of a healthier, stronger future where I don't have to worry about my back.
